These overwound vintage style Strat pickups offer increased output, sparkling highs and a very nice warm tone while retaining your favorite vintage Strat characteristics. Constructed with Alnico 5 magnets and polysol magnet wire and featuring a reverse wound/reverse polarity middle pickup for hum canceling in positions 2 & 4, these pickups scorch. OEM on the Jimmy Vaughan Stratocaster.

Dimarzio DP170 Blue Velvet RM180.

The Blue Velvet overcomes the problem of string balance that afflicts most single coils. The vintage magnet stagger wasn’t made for light strings with a plain G, so DiMarzio recalibrated it in order to make the strings balance better. The Blue Velvet guitar pickup also features a new winding technique that gives the guitar attack, while keeping that famous single-coil sound.

Recommended for all positions but particularly recommended for neck and middle positions on rosewood fingerboard guitars.

We thought it would be neat to have a Strat® pickup that does both, and this is it. The punch comes from the bottom-loaded Power Plate™, the sting from custom coil-winding and the True Velvet™ magnet stagger, and a unique mid-range “growl” that’s a result of a hand-calibrated magnet structure. Try a Red Velvet™ bridge pickup with a pair of True Velvet™ pickups for a sound that’s both classic and new.

Dimarzio DP110 FS-1 RM180.

Some players find the traditional Strat® bridge pickup sound clear and sparkling, while others think it’s almost painfully bright. You know who you are, and the FS-1™ is for you. It’s louder (about 25% more power) than a stock single-coil, and smoother and fatter-sounding all-round. When you combine the FS-1™ in the bridge with True Velvet™ in the middle and neck, you’ll have a guitar with calibrated, balanced tone in all five switch positions. For a bigger, more aggressive sound by and large, you can also install FS-1™ pickups in all three positions

Recommended For: All positions, or bridge position with standard single-coils in neck and middle.

Dimarzio DP186 Cruiser for neck RM250.

If you’re a serious traditional Strat® player, you probably won’t want to know about pickups with side - by - side coils. But if you’re the player who’s up for something more modern with no 60-cycle hum, string drop-outs or sustain-killing magnet pull, we designed The Cruiser® for you. Harmonic overtones are right where you expect them to be from a “true” single-coil, and the mid-range is open and vocal-sounding. It’s hotter than the traditional single-coil, and the bass strings have a bit more chunk; this is an excellent pickup to combine with medium-output humbuckers, and it maintains its tonal identity with high-gain amps and multiple effects.

Dimarzio DP181 Fast Track 1 RM250.

The Fast Track 1™ is hotter and more muscular than The Cruiser®, but it’s still very bright and clean sounding - not at all like a full-size humbucker. The dual-blade continuous magnetic field creates an even string balance with very little magnet-pull, eliminating the “out - of - tuneness” common to rod-magnet designs. The Fast Track 1™ pickup’s power (double the output of a standard single-coil) makes it highly recommended in combination with medium - to - hot full-size humbuckers. You can also put a whole set of Fast Track 1™ pickups in a Strat® style guitar, or create custom sets with The Cruiser®, The Chopper™, and Pro Track™.

Dimarzio DP172 Twang King for neck RM180.

When we decided to go for the vintage Tele® sound, we knew we had to do more than just copy a forty-year-old design. We wanted pickups that captured the best elements of our favorite Broadcaster® and Telecaster® sounds – and then some. The Twang King™ pickups have unequalled response to pick attack: light playing produces a soft, quiet tone and hard picking creates a harder, louder, and more dynamic sound than any comparable single-coil. We accomplished this with a combination of controlled-tension coil-winding, special wire, and hand-calibrated magnets. The neck pickup comes with a chrome cover, and the bridge model has a ferrous base plate. Both pickups are wax-potted twice for squeal-free performance.

The GE-7 Equalizer pedal offers seven bands of EQ ranging from 100Hz to 6.4kHz, ideal for guitar sounds, with boost/cut of +/- 15dB per band. This lets you completely control your sound and eliminate unwanted feedback, particularly when connected after a distortion effect.

The OD-2 was created as a replacement for the OD-1 in the mid 1980s. The OD-1 was already legendary so following up to it was in impossible task. The design goal was to create a pedal with two modes. In mode one its sound should be similar to the OD-1 but in the turbo mode it should have more distortion and more gain. A tone control is included to give the user better control over the sound. The OD-2 is built using only discrete components (no integrated circuits).

Beefed up Patent Applied For tone for a hard-driving, kickin’ sound with the right balance of power, sustain, and distortion. This pickup cuts through with a distinctive high end and midrange attack. The ceramic magnet and custom coil design give it compressed dynamics, an enhanced harmonic structure, and a punchy bass. Perfect for dropped tunings without “mushing” out. Comes with four-conductor hookup cable.

Seymour Duncan Duncan JB RM250.

The world’s most popular humbucker. Provides slammin’ output while retaining singing highs, aggressive harmonics, and just the right blend of sustain and distortion. Goes from sweet warm tones to raw rock ‘n’ roll. Compared to the SH-14 Custom 5, the JB has a stronger treble detail. Some players use it with 250K pots to smooth out the highs. Comes with four-conductor hookup cable.

Seymour Duncan Jazz RM250.

Provides an articulate and clear tone. Great for fast runs. The brighter tone has slightly less output and is a good match with most bridge pickups. When distorted, the tone is full and bright. Smooth sustain. Compared to the SH-1 ‘59 Model, the Jazz has slightly less output and a more detailed treble response. Comes with four-conductor hookup cable.

Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates RM300.

Originally designed as a recreation of the pickups in the ‘59 Les Paul® Standard that defined the raw, rebellious sound of Texas blues-rock. The Pearly Gates is sweet, but slightly rude, with great sustain and a bright top end that make harmonics jump out of the guitar. Comes with four-conductor hookup cable.

Marshall The Guv’nor RM500.

As used by: Gary Moore

The Guv’nor was a brilliant effort to create a full-featured overdrive pedal worthy of its Marshall heritage. Personally named by Jim Marshall himself, “The Guv’nor” is British slang for “The Leader,” or a musician’s expression in the UK meaning “The Ultimate.” Solid state technology was used to “unleash a stunning variety of the best-sounding classic and contemporary distortion sounds known to man,” according to an article introducing the Guv’nor in the Vol. 6, No. 1 issue of Marshall Law issued in 1989. Everything is housed in a tough, steel-reinforced case.

Dimarzio Humbucker from Hell DP156 RM250.

Because a conventional humbucker senses the string at two different places, it cancels some frequencies along with the hum. What if there was a humbucker that cancelled fewer frequencies? It would be brighter and cleaner: almost glassy-sounding. In other words, it would sound a lot like a Strat® pickup, but with about the same power as a PAF®. We created The Humbucker From Hell® primarily as a neck pickup. You won’t believe how much it will open up the sound in the neck position of a Les Paul®, and it has an almost acoustic quality in the neck spot of a bolt-on guitar. Why is it called The Humbucker From Hell®? Try it in the bridge position with a bright amp - but put in your earplugs first, and don’t say you weren’t warned.

Dimarzio Fast Track 1 DP181 RM250.

Dimarzio Steve Special DP161 RM250.

The Steve’s Special™ is a non-traditional approach to high-output bridge humbucking pickup design. Most hot humbuckers concentrate the pickups power in a narrow frequency range for maximum impact. The Special spreads the sound over a broader range so bass and treble tones are boosted, and midrange is lowered. The result is a sound that’s hot, clean and open at the same time.

Dimarzio MEGA DRIVE DP107 RM280.

The MegaDrive joins two different concepts to deliver one powerful pickup. Each coil of the MegaDrive senses the string differently. The solid-bar coil hears the lows while the coil with six adjustable poles picks up the highs. With each coil optimized for a specific job, the sound is loud and clear, with minimum dirt. For players who like to “ride” the guitar’s volume control the MegaDrive cleans up crisply when you back off. A solid range of sounds, dialed in from the guitar, lets you leave the amp’s gain settings alone for most of the set.

Dimarzio Evo DP159 RM270.

The Evolution humbucker is the result of years of research to come up with the right sound for a very demanding player - Steve Vai. This pickup is designed for maximum impact and power. The sound is tight, aggressive and loud. The design incorporates DiMarzio’s patented dual-resonance coil configuration that senses more harmonic overtones than ordinary humbuckers.

BOSS HF-2 MIJ RM320.

Damn Good Condition .The HF-2 is combining the original signal with a delayed signal that is shifted one octave up to create a flanging effect a bit different but still similar to the BF-2. The effect is brighter and cleaner than the BF-2. The HF-2 may not be as powerful as the BF-2, but for hi frequency flanging it produces a very good result.

BOSS NF-1 MIJ RM240.

Damn good condition . The NF-1 is a simple noise gate that just cut off all sound as soon as the level falls below the threshold set. Adjust the Sens knob to the threshold level where you want the pedal to cut off and adjust the Decay knob to how fast you want the sound to disappear. It’s not going to get much easier than that. The NF-1 should by normal conventions be called NG-1, but NG could be interpreted as No Good so NF-1 for Noise Filter was chosen instead.

Okay , i did a survey ..

I found out that most musician use :

1. BOSS PSA-230 (1000ma) . Market price : RM110
2.1SPOT (1700ma) . Market price : RM130
3. Cheap Adapters . Market price : RM10-RM70
4.If you are using Dunlop DC Brick or Voodoo Lab or any high end power supply , you can close this page right now .

I used to sell 1SPOT . Their old price was RM110 . right ?
Recently , the big “supplier” decided to increase the price to RM130 . Not sure how many of you heard of it , but it pissed me off . Seriously , 1spot was a damn good adapter to sell (when it was RM110) i used to ONLY recommend 1SPOT adapters . Not to mention they were selling their 1/8 converters for RM55 .

I get to see guitars , play guitars , smell guitars and eat guitars everyday Recently i have been very very busy ..Some of you might know i am in the middle of creating my own guitar brand .I must admit , i’ve not been doing my job properly . Such as , posting up guitars on my blog , jamtank , i-bands and lowyat.

In Music Master , we change our guitars EVERY WEEK . YES . EVERY WEEK ! Guitars come in , and go out . Sometimes , guitar goes out more than guitars comes in . That is the time i get all the “bro ! where are all your guitars? ” line . LOL .

I still remember when i first started out , before a shop . I had 2-3 new guitars coming in a MONTH , ONLY. LOL . Today , thanks to jamtank , lowyat , i-bands , my friends and my fellow musicians support …last i check (based on the last 3 months), averagely , Music Master sells 14-16 guitars a week . (high end and low end) .

Why the hell are people buying from us ? I don’t know , maybe its our simple concept . Buying second hand guitars , with warranty , from a real shop . ( you know i won’t run away from you )
